And I can see myself through the maze of time...retracing my steps on the road to Two Chimneys..

Are my questions answered...is peace sought..I smile...Heaven is in the seeking...And I will have to be back again to experience it...The house awaits...

And then at the writer's desk..trying to soak in the fervour this place holds...where the artist sits and conjures a million rainbow coloured worlds with his magic pen..this was probably the most profound moment of this sojourn...

We spend the next day exploring different corners of the house...the lofts...the corners...the backdrops..

And then it's time to retire to bed with the owner's own masterpiece..which is what drew me to this haunt in the first place...

Dinner is a lavish mouthwatering affair with the housekeeper Manju leaving no stone unturned to keep our taste buds tickling....

And the warm corners are just the place to snuggle in with your pick...

The study beckons in the dusk..lined with books to suit possibly every taste..

And what better way to banish it but with hot steaming tea at Land's End..further most corner of the house...they say you could sight a leopard here if you are lucky....

The clouds bring on the evening chill post lunch...

The weather changes without an announcement...the sun and the clouds tease each other....the sky is a riot of activity....

And then it's time to unwind at the pool..it's a magnet for loosening oneself up after the journey...

We are treated to a homely sumptuous breakfast...

My room opens to a mini waterfall falling into a clear pool with bright orange colored fishes....

There are mountains to look forward to....

Ballu, the calm, friendly, and wise dog welcomes us with all his warmth to make us feel at home...and I know I have a faithful companion for the rest of the stay...

And then the house looks at you,you look at it and time stands still..till you realize you would be breathing in it, feeling it,letting it overpower you for the next few days...

On arrival, the vast expanse of green beckons and unwinds...

This time I am on a different path...This time I am seeking the sound of silence....the dust of roads less traversed...This time I am on my way to Two Chimneys...a private haunt in the hills in Gethia...Where the celebrated writer Tarun Tejpal based his famous novel--"The Alchemy of Desire"..Will I find my peace?
